Road Racing

Do you have the need for speed ?   Craig Silvers, the owner of the shop is 48 years young and still enjoys ‘Dragging His Knee’ though the corners at 90 mph.

“There is a time and a place for most things, but going too fast on the street is not the place.”

 On the track we wear a multi padded leather suit, racing boots, a state of the art helmet, spine protector and gloves.  “The race track is the safest place to ride at all speeds, no gravel, no cars, no cops, everyone is going the same direction and with plenty of run-off room.”

One of the preferred tracks is Hallett in Oklahoma 40 miles west of  Tulsa.

“ We usually take 2 new riders with us to Hallett. Where eles can you get schooled on a race track for only $130? We can even supply you with a race bike and all the gear for $120.”

“The instructors teach you advanced riding technique, how to enter and exit a corner properly. That is what most street rider have problems with, they go in too fast and can’t slow down in time and run off the road.”

 So stop on in and check out the trick stuff on the race bikes, chat with the guys and get on the track with them. It will make you a better rider!
